This draft Business Classification Scheme describes UC's common business functions and supporting activities, and ensures that the context in which records are created and used can be identified and preserved over time. It also forms the first three levels of a future University -wide file plan. In the meantime, business units and College's wishing to follow the proposed model should contact the Information and Records Management Unit to discuss accessing and adopting the file share folder hierarchy.
